As a member of the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine Practice Group with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, Shana will review the relationship between mental health and dietary and lifestyle influences. Incorporating a diet full of phytonutrients and antioxidants along with improved sleep, stress reduction and daily movement as interventions can help to address symptoms of depression and anxiety and reduce further cognitive decline.
