Sajal Javid is a seasoned HR leader, social worker, activist, and executive coach with 20+ years of experience in HR, operations, and social work across retail, nonprofit, arts, and hospitality. As the Chief Human Resources & Culture Officer at Alley Theatre, she leads HR strategy for a $24M organization with 250+ employees. She also heads InclusivEdge Consulting, specializing in HR and EDIA strategies. A Certified Diversity Professional and member of LORT's EDI committee, Sajal advocates for inclusive practices in the arts. She has guest lectured at Columbia and Yale, covering anti-racist HR and employee wellness. Her work with Hacking HR addresses the intersection of tech and the future of work. Sajal holds degrees from Columbia University, the University of Central Oklahoma, and Oklahoma City University, and actively engages in community service and nonprofit boards, championing equity, employee engagement, and well-being in every role.
