Jenna Dhayer, President of the Lighthouse of Houston, a nonprofit serving the blind or low vision community. I have been working in the nonprofit space for the past 25 years and have a strong passion and commitment to serving underserved communities. Previous to my work at the Lighthouse, I worked for the YMCA for 20 years, then served as the President for CarePartners, a nonprofit dedicated to providing tools, resources and respite care for caregivers and their loved ones suffering from memory loss.
The Lighthouse of Houston assists people who are blind or low vision to be independent members of society. We provide community programs and health services, technology education and independent living. We also focus on providing employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or low vision through our professional services business line, 3rd party packaging and products sales.
